Type in the box number, scan a QR code, or search nearby using your phone's location.
Select Apple/Google pay, or enter your card details, and you are done.

Receiving Payments
Honesty Box offers a simple and secure way to take cash-free payments, without the need to invest in expensive on-site equipment, or to pay for ongoing enforcement costs.
Anyone can create an Honesty Box in minutes, and start receiving payments from visitors, customers, and supporters.
Register for an account by clicking Sign Up.
Create a box group for your organisation or property. Choose a name that people will recognise, and upload a logo.
Add as many boxes as you like. You can include images and text about what you offer, and if appropriate, how the money will be spent.
Payment settings (such as a suggested amount) can be customised for each box.
Download tailored sign artwork, including box numbers and QR codes, to display or integrate with your own signage.
Register your bank account with Stripe. There are some important things to get right here, but our guided step-by-step process will help you along the way.
Activate your boxes, and you are all set!
You can track payments in detail on your box group's management page, which is accessible through your profile.
Fees
A portion of each payment is collected as a fee by Honesty Box. The fee is calculated as 3.9% + 24p, per transaction.
In addition to this, £3 is charged per group, per active month (a group is active in any month in which a payment is received).
Who are we?
We are Adam Lockyear, and Dave Forey.
Adam's background is in farming, conservation, and land management - Honesty Box was his idea. Dave is a software engineer - he wrote the code that made it happen.
We met at university in Aberystwyth, and have been good friends ever since. Our shared love of the outdoors means a lot of time spent biking, climbing and general adventuring - both with friends, and with our young families.
Many times, we have found ourselves unable to pay for parking, make a donation, or buy a tasty snack at a farm gate, because we didn't have any cash on us. But we always had our phones, and we were more than willing to pay our way, or contribute to a good cause.
Honesty Box is our answer to this problem - it lets us pay for things when we're out and about, without changing what we have in our pockets.
